What to expect for

Assessment & Admissions

Before or upon admission, our team of experienced clinicians conducts a thorough assessment of each client. This assessment involves gathering a detailed substance use history, including information such as the drug of choice, duration of use, and the impact of substance abuse on various aspects of life (e.g., DUIs, missed work or school, strained relationships, blackouts, etc.). This valuable information allows our staff to develop personalized recovery plans tailored to the individual. We understand that addiction treatment varies for each person, and by understanding the development of a substance use disorder, we can assist our clients in building resilience and achieving lasting recovery.

Our commitment to a

Continuum of Care

Many people who seek out detox and addiction treatment services to address a substance use disorder are worried that they will not be able to maintain their sobriety once treatment comes to an end. To address that concern, Peak View Behavioral Health is committed to what we call a “continuum of care.” That means you will continue to have access to resources and support as your recovery journey gets underway.

When appropriate, that continuum of care might include participation in Peak View’s intensive outpatient program. The program includes group therapy sessions, physician oversight, connection to community based recovery resources, and transitional help in moving toward productive activities.

The early days of recovery can, in fact, be quite challenging, and our continuum of care seeks to ease those challenges. Still, relapse is quite common. The most important thing to remember is that a relapse is not the end of your sobriety. After a relapse, a return to treatment can help you address the issues and triggers that may have led to your return to drugs or alcohol, giving you an even firmer foundation from which to relaunch your recovery journey.

A Continuum of Care

We understand the concerns individuals have about maintaining their sobriety once their detox and addiction treatment services come to an end. To address these concerns, we are committed to providing a “continuum of care,” ensuring ongoing access to resources and support throughout your recovery journey.

As part of our continuum of care, we offer participation in Peak View’s intensive outpatient program when it is deemed appropriate. This program provides valuable components such as group therapy sessions, physician oversight, connection to community-based recovery resources, and assistance in transitioning towards meaningful and productive activities.

We recognize that the early stages of recovery can present significant challenges, and our continuum of care is designed to alleviate these difficulties. However, it’s important to note that relapse is a common occurrence. We want to emphasize that a relapse does not signify the end of your sobriety journey. Instead, it serves as an opportunity for growth. Returning to treatment following a relapse allows you to address the underlying issues and triggers that may have contributed to your substance use, providing a stronger foundation to recommence your path to recovery.

You Are Note Alone

At Peak View Behavioral Health, we are dedicated to supporting you throughout your recovery journey, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance you need to achieve lasting sobriety. We believe in your ability to overcome challenges and are here to assist you every step of the way.
